  • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 large lemon zest and juice

  • 1 tablespoon fresh herbs parsley, thyme, or dill
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour for dredging, optional

  • Garnish with chopped fresh herbs and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Choosing the Freshest Branzino: Look for clear eyes, bright gills, and a firm texture.
  • Seasoning Tips: Use salt, black pepper, fresh lemon juice, garlic, and herbs like parsley or thyme.
  • Cooking Method: Pan-searing is recommended for a crispy skin and flaky texture.
  • Serving Suggestions: Pair with roasted Mediterranean vegetables, lemon herb quinoa, or a crisp arugula salad.
  • Wine Pairing: Light white wines like Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc complement branzino beautifully.
